Peter Scott, MD
Dr. Peter Scott received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his medical degree, pediatric training and pediatric pulmonary fellowship from Indiana University. He completed additional pediatric pulmonary training at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. In 1980, he returned to Indiana University as assistant professor of pediatrics. He was promoted to associate professor in 1986. Dr. Scott relocated to Atlanta in 1987 and founded Georgia Pediatric Pulmonology Associates.
Dr. Scott is skilled in all areas of pediatric pulmonology. He has a special expertise in pediatric asthma and cystic fibrosis. As the Cystic Fibrosis Affiliate Program Director at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, is helping lead the effort to improve clinical outcomes of cystic fibrosis patients in Georgia.
Dr. Scott is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Scott is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is married and the father of two grown daughters. He and his wife have and two granddaughters. |
